best day ever

On da way to wide da twains wif Freddie!!!

Practicing driving the engine

Manly moment of the day...
Fred: "Will, do you want a train or a digger or a flower?"
Will: "a flower!"
And then a train, please.
Will, Chris and I got the royal treatment today
at the Tacoma Rail open house.
We were able to ride up on the engine with the
engineer during our train ride while the rest of the
hundreds of people sat in the regular old train car.
Will got to blow the whistle and sit on the engineer's lap.
And uncle Joe said his name over the walkie talkie which
he just about died over.
He was so serious the entire day about every little thing.
And was out before we got to the freeway.

my main men

Countless reasons I love these two.

my new favorite place

Yeah, yeah nesting is in full effect.
We just finished the boys new playroom.
Pretty dang fun.
The one advantage to still being pregnant is
that our house projects are rapidly getting checked
off my mile and a half long list.

today's not the day...

Looks like he's staying put for a while.
Not much progress...
2cm...still.
50% effaced.
For some reason these Torrone boys
don't want to leave their mama.
Maybe it's because Lulu and Bomp are out of town.
Maybe it's because he wants me to suffer through
3 days of work this weekend.
Maybe he's a little afraid of meeting his wild big bro.
Whatever the reason we can't wait to meet him...
on the outside.

"naken"-ball

The fairly new obsession at our house
(baseball, not necessarily while "naken")
He love, love, loves it which is great except we
have to throw the ball to him 3oo times a day.
Everyday.
And it means I have to bend over and pick up the ball a lot.
Which is not pretty right now.
How about loving golf the most, again.
It's a great individual sport.

parents are sooooo boring

Good morning, Will.
So happy to see you.
What would you like to do today?
What do you want for breakfast?
This was his response to all of the above and much more.
So boring.
Any ideas to spice up his mornings?

Charlie update...

Had an ultrasound today and saw Dr. Nelson.
The little dude is (about) 7 lbs 10 oz (yikes).
3 and 1/2 weeks to go.
Looks healthy and happy.
I am 1 cm dilated.
Will is ready to meet Char-yee.
He even said goodnight to him instead of me last night.
me: "Love you Will! See you in the morning."
will: Bye, char-yee!!"
Very sweet :)
Hope he likes him in real life as much as he likes him in theory.

nothing a little makeup can't fix?

It was quiet for one minute too long at Noni
and Fred's house yesterday morning.
Noni went to check it out and this is what
she found.
Will apparently has a way with lipstick
and is quite proud of his new found talent.
