hip hop hippity hop.

Charlie working on his Easter skills
with Will's homemade basket.
I happen to think they're both to die for.
the dye job.
the hunt.
Charlie was surprisingly good at hunting.
He was super serious and loved being one of the big kids.
I think the treats inside had something to do with it.

hop hopping for those eggs that were a little too high.

No shame.

sometimes they surprise us.

Does anyone else think it is amazing that
there are 7 kids in this picture and
nobody is crying,
everyone is sort of looking at the camera,
and most of them are smiling?
It lasted about 8 seconds
but we'll take it.
Tuesday we met up with friends from my days in Spokane.
We were all either newly or not married and childless
the last time we were together.
Things have changed a bit
but we had a fun day at the zoo
and it was great to catch up
and meet their sweet kids.
Hope to see them again soon!

goofy little dude.

channeling his inner Woody.
{such a treat to find pics on the camera that i didn't take.}

ummm mom...

playing baseball in the backyard
while I was in the kitchen,
with my feet up, eating bon bons.
(insert Char crying)
W: "ummm, mom."
me: "what Will?"
W: umm mom, somethin' happened."
me: "what happened bud?"
W: ummm, somehow the ball hit Char right in his forehead."

i need some bloggy love.

Why the (insert any/all expletive{s}) is the spacing on this blog
that I've had for a really long time
so crazy?
Why can't it just do what I say?
And not double, triple, quadruple space what I write?
For the love of god,
please someone,
anyone
tell me why
and how to freakin fix it.

{OK...so I just read some of the help sites
and maybe using google chrome
instead of internet explorer will fix it.
we'll see.}

talent.

It took a lot longer to go get the marshmallows
for these Curious George inspired crafts

(George built a bridge for ducklings with his)

than we actually spent making them.

I recommend not using (really, really) old spaghetti noodles

that break in half when you glance in their direction.

Charlie liked it though.
